Kathleen Stevens Hand Woven Designs was established in NJ (1976) and continues in Indiana since 1980 when she and her family moved to Indiana.  Kathleen's weavings are in homes throughout the USA and Canada.  She has woven for the Interior Design trade for 35 years and has woven for individuals for 44 years.  Rugs, wall hangings, textiles for home and business plus some clothing are offered. 

Kathleen presents lectures on the international textile trade and also on historic textiles.  She has been guest lecturer at the Indiana Childrens Museum, Central Indiana Artists, Inc., Woman's Department Club, Red Hat Societies, Indiana Traditional Arts Center, etc. etc.  She has been craft judge for the Monrovia Festival Art shows.
Kathleen was educated on the East Coast with degrees in engineering, theater, and education. She is a retired school principal.  While a principal, she learned weaving as a relaxing hobby which soon turned into a full time occupation.
She is currently Founder and Director of Indiana Traditional Arts Center, owner and operator of Kathleen Stevens Hand-Woven Designs and a former member of Hoosier Artist Gallery, Nashville Indiana.  Kathleen may be reached through this web site and through hndwvnds@ccrtc.com
