Welcome to the new year and hopefully it will be an even better year than 2011. If you are reading this, it probably means you have survived 2011 and that is very good.
We are semi-retiring after teaching for 44 years and so we are selling this terrific property which houses the Indiana Traditional Arts Center----just the property, not the business at this time.
We are continuing classes at our wonderful Indiana Traditional Arts Center until this property sells. When it sells, classes will continue at HAND-WOVEN DESIGNS STUDIO, just 2.5 miles south of the Center. All new info about classes will be given on this web site.
The Indiana Traditional Arts Center property is lovely and may be used as a residence, or a business, or a combination of both. It is a solid Arts & Crafts home built by a well known, excellent, professional builder (Jason Tudor) for his family in 1921. Check other commercial buildings in Monrovia and surrounding areas for his name on the buildings. It also has a multi-car concrete block garage where we also give certain classes in warmer weather. Just contact us at: artscenter@ccrtc.com for more information and to set an appointment to see all that it has to offer.
PLEASE CHECK OUR 'CLASSES' PAGE FOR MONTHLY CLASSES OFFERED. If bad weather hits, kindly check with WCBK-FM radio for class postponement.
We welcome persons with skills in the traditional arts for teaching classes. Although we have 20 teachers, we always like to open this opportunity to others.
We offer our Indiana Traditional Arts Center as a community enrichment for the enjoyment of Monrovia residents and other surrounding towns.
Our childrens classes are relaxing, fun, and very low cost---many are actually free. Many classes are designed for parents and/or grandparents and grandchildren working together. Many special needs childrens classes are offered at no cost and have been for the last 36 years. Our lectures on historic crafts are free to the community. Kindly contact us to see what may be offered by using our email above. Please put 'classes' in the subject line.
